I'm Delight, a software engineer who cares more about whether something actually works than how it looks on paper. I like taking a rough idea and turning it into something people can actually use, across web and mobile.

I'm always learning, backend depth and system design lately, though mobile's been the one I've enjoyed building most. Security is something I build in from the start, finding the gap before it becomes an incident is part of the job, not an extra step.

Outside of code, I'm a Liverpool fan, I watch a lot of TV series, and I spend my free time with friends and family.

Software Engineer — SmartTech Global

At SmartTech, I'm part of the core engineering team building SmartHub, the company's official website and product. I work across the product and backend systems, helping take features from an idea through implementation, integration, and iteration.

At PipChat, I worked as part of the product engineering team across the backend and mobile products. I built the PipHub mobile app myself from scaffold through production, while contributing to the systems behind the wider product. PipHub is an internal tool, so it isn't publicly available.

  • Built the PipHub mobile app independently from scaffold through production, owning the React Native and Expo codebase and its integration with live backend services.
  • Contributed as part of the product engineering team across real-time communication, calls, payments, account security, and product stability.
  • Worked across the mobile and backend sides of the product, helping keep the experience reliable as it grew.

Started with transactional and marketing email templates, then built the company's admin dashboard from existing Figma designs using React, Vite, shadcn/ui, and Tailwind CSS.

  • Mentored approximately 15 to 20 computer science undergraduates through final-year project development since 2023, including 8 in the past year alone.
  • Delivered freelance full-stack web builds for small businesses and individual clients, including a property-finder platform, an e-commerce product hub, and a client portfolio site.
  • Built the public website and internal CRM for Ifem Education during an NYSC service placement from January to August 2026.
